The first stop is at Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch. You will track the southern white rhinos for around two and a half hours. Then continue to Masindi town for lunch.

After lunch, head to Murchison Falls National Park and go straight for an afternoon boat cruise on the River Nile. This is the world’s longest river and you will cruise towards the Murchison Falls. Take photos of the waterfalls. Along the river, you may see Nile crocodiles and hippos. Birds like the African fish eagle and shoebill may also be seen. Then go to your lodge to check in, freshen up, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Transfer to Kibale National Park

After an early breakfast, check out of your lodge and go for a game drive in the Savannah plains. You may see lions, cape buffaloes, Savannah elephants, Jackson’s hartebeests, oribis, leopards, warthogs, and Rothschild’s giraffes. Then travel to Kibale National Park, a 253 km journey southwest of Murchison Falls.

Lunch will be on the way. When you arrive at Kibale Forest, check in at your lodge, freshen up, and wait for dinner. You will spend the night there.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trek & Bigodi Village Visit

Then return to the starting point and drive back to the lodge.

After lunch, go to Bigodi Village. Visit Rest in Banana to learn about making banana gin. Taste a small amount of this strong drink. Explore banana gardens and enjoy eating sweet bananas. You will also enjoy entertainment from the local people. Join them in singing and dancing to local songs.
