By road, it takes about five to six hours to reach the lodge. If you choose air transport, it will take fewer hours, although it is more expensive. The nearest airstrip is in Kasese, where the helicopters and caravan planes land. From there, you will be picked up and taken to the lodge by road.
Most tourist places are in rural areas where hospitals, electricity, and other services may be limited, and most of the roads are murram. Still, be ready for the experience and pack all your safari items, because nothing stops a determined traveler.
