Park entry fees are charged according to age and nationality. Foreign residents pay more than citizens, and the fee is valid for 24 hours. Payment can be made at the gate upon arrival using a credit card. To avoid delays, you can also pay before arrival using MTN or Airtel mobile money with the help of agents found in most towns across the country.
Non-resident foreigners pay USD 40 for adults, and children pay USD 20. Foreign residents pay USD 30, and their children pay USD 10. East African citizens are charged 20,000 Uganda Shillings, and children pay 5,000 Uganda Shillings. Students who are citizens pay 3,000 Shillings, institutions pay 5,000 Shillings, and Uganda Wildlife Clubs pay 2,000 Shillings.

These items may include long-sleeved safari clothes, sunglasses, a hat, a rain jacket, gumboots, insect repellent (especially for mosquitoes), a first aid kit, and make sure you know how to use the items properly to avoid mistakes. Also, carry drinks and snacks, especially if you plan to go trekking for several hours.
