Primate Lodge is like a leaf on a tree, connected to the natural world. It is deep in the forest, next to the starting point for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park, a place known for having many primates, birds, mammals, amphibians, and reptiles, to mention a few.
Adventurers are always excited to see more than just what is near them. That is why Primate Lodge built a sky tree house on a large tree, 500 meters deep in the forest, and 10 meters above the ground. It overlooks an elephant meadow, allowing visitors to see many parts of the forest.
If you want to stay longer, a single bedroom was prepared just for you and your friend or partner. It has one big bed that is enough for two people.
Visitors staying in the sky tree house usually eat at the main lodge and are escorted when going to and from the tree house for safety.
Some of the services provided by Primate Lodge include:
- Well-stocked bar
- Spacious dining terrace
- Evening campfire
- Laundry service at an affordable cost
- Free Wi-Fi in public areas
The natural Primate Lodge is well spaced, with nine en-suite luxury cottages surrounded by green areas that give you privacy. The cottages have either two double beds, which are good for a group, or one single bed that is suitable for one person or couples.
To make you feel at home, the sitting room has furniture made from local materials like timber from African forests. This wood is used to make chairs and reading tables, as many guests are English-speaking and enjoy reading and learning. That is why having a table in the room is important.
The veranda brings you close to nature, as it faces the forest. From there, you can see birds and the active monkeys who are always moving around.
The lodge also built a two-story Elephant Banda, meant to bring joy to honeymooners or couples who enjoy spending time together. It stands above the green surroundings, giving a special place for love stories.
After enjoying the beauty of nature, you can order any meal from the lodge’s restaurant, or have it served on your personal veranda. Eating while watching the sunrise or sunset is a very special moment here.
